Walking and accessibility
The campus is open to the public and has step-free access to all areas.
Cycling
Cycle parking facilities are available at all car parks and other locations around the campus, as shown on the map. Motorcycle parking facilities are available at the Sawyers car park.
Public transport
If you are coming from further afield, do consider using the Chelmer Valley Park and Ride or bus route C9, which stop on campus.
The campus is also just a short walk from Chelmsford station (see map above).
Parking (day)
On-site parking for daytime events is by arrangement. We will tell you which car park to use and advise the access code in the event joining instructions.
Parking (evening)
Parking at ARU is free in the evening. Please use the Queen's / Sawyers car park via Hoffmanns Way. If the barrier is down, press the call button and ask for entry. If you are issued with a ticket on arrival, keep it for departure.
The maps above and below show the car park location. When approaching from New Street, turn right at the roundabout; when approaching from Rectory Lane, go straight over. Then take the first left into the car park, which is signed.
