100 years ago, British Broadcasting began, bringing the BBC, radio and mass entertainment to tomorrow's world. But just a minute – I'm sorry I haven't a clue how it started?

Before BBC boss John Reith had even heard of broadcasting, two Marconi eggheads had very different points of view of how wireless could change life on earth, today. Imagine...

Were these fools only the weakest link? Should they remain strictly pointless ghosts? Or shall we meet the comic relief and doctor who changed this country, all in the line of duty?

Part one-man-play, part 'stand-up history', this amazing true story (would I lie to you?) is based on Paul Kerensa's forthcoming novel 'Auntie and Uncles' and his podcast 'The British Broadcasting Century'.

As a comedian, Paul won Take The Mike on ITV (sssh) and was a finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards (better). Elsewhere on Auntie Beeb, he's co-written Miranda, Top Gear and Not Going Out, and regularly presents on BBC Radio Sussex, Surrey and BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show's Pause for Thought.

But none of these would exist without Arthur and Peter...
