Dr Mike Bluck, Director of the Centre for Nuclear
Engineering, Imperial College
Coordinating nuclear research, teaching and outreach, including the provision of advice to Government, Parliament, and industry
across the whole spectrum of nuclear related issues. He is also the Director of the Rolls-Royce Nuclear University Technology Centre
(UTC) supporting research for both the nuclear submarine and new Small-Modular Reactor (SMR) programmes. He has specific
expertise in nuclear reactor design including nuclear thermal hydraulics and neutronics and computational methods in both
nuclear fission and fusion engineering.
Gordon Taylor, Consultant and Writer on Energy Technology & Policy Gordon is an advocate of renewables, especially wind power, and has a long history of warning of the dangers of nuclear power.
Prof Richard Folkson
Richard will be moderating the debate. He served as Chairman of the Institution's Automobile Division from 2008-09, Eastern Region Chairman from 2010-12 rising to President of the Institution 2015-16.
