Schools' Engineering and Technology Competition, Friday 1 July, Anglia Ruskin University

We are very pleased to announce that our 2016 Schools' Engineering and Technology Competition is open for entries.

  • The competition will take place on Friday 1 July 2016
  • The awards evening will take place on Wednesday 20 July 2016

Please note that the awards evening has moved from a Thursday to a Wednesday, as we hope that more people will be free on this evening.

See our school events listings to add these to your calendar.

Find out how to enter the competition here.

Following your feedback from the surveys (thank you to all those who responded), we have made the following improvements for 2016:

  • All the information you need in advance is now available in one place and can be downloaded here.
  • You will be able to receive the real-time judging notifications on your own device (see downloadable information for details).
  • Certain details have been clarified in the information pack, including how much space you will be allocated for the exhibition and who will be visiting your stand.
  • This year will see the introduction of a STEM Q&A stand that students can visit in between judges' visits, to talk about anything related to STEM including subject choices, university, apprenticeships and careers.
  • The awards evening invitations will be distributed automatically and individually by email, with a link to an online reply system. Please make sure that you provide a valid email address (that will not expire towards the end of term) for every student that enters!

You can enter the competition online right here on the website. Please take a look at the information provided and contact us if you have any questions.

We look forward to seeing you in July!
