President's Dinner 2019

We are pleased to welcome members and their guests to our 2019 President's Dinner.

Venue and timing

The dinner will be held at The Warren Golf & Country Club, Woodham Walter, Essex, CM9 6RW (see map below).

To allow our guests a little longer to catch up prior to dining we have extended the timetable slightly: the bar will be open from 6:45 pm for pre-dinner drinks, with seating for dinner at 7:45 pm sharp and carriages at 10:45 pm.

The charge for a three-course meal is £29.50 per person, with drinks being purchased separately, and with a £2.50 supplement for the cheese board. Please note that this is the first increase in price for several years and includes a gratuity for staff.

Speaker

We are delighted to confirm that our after-dinner speaker will be Stuart McIntyre, CEO and Founder of Orbital Access Ltd. He will talk about Delivering Satellites and Payloads to Low Earth Orbit, and the role being played by the UK Government and the UK Space Agency therein.

Orbital Access is developing a hypersonic craft to take payloads from conventional runways to the edge of the atmosphere. It is perhaps the only company outside of the US working on this ground-breaking approach, reinforcing the aerospace engineering capabilities, prowess and innovation in the UK.
